So, earlier, it said that Essex Corporation was commanding the Reavers who kill all humans and in the process all the mutants except Wolverine, Charles Xavier, the other guy (forget his name), and Mr. Sinister have been killed, and leads to an apocalyptic future.
Then, Deadpool 2 said that Cable goes back in time to work together with Deadpool to fight Mr. Sinister and prevent the apocalyptic future he causes.
But now it seems things have changed drastically.
First, Logan mentions not so much an apocalyptic future as, a future where a lot of the mutants have died, and/or less are being born, the X-Men have disbanded (though these first two still sound tragic), and Wolverine and Charles are old, with Wolverine's healing fading away, and the vi…Read more >
My name is Murali9395 - some of you may recognize me from, well, this wikia :P
I've put in a bid to adopt this wikia and become its administrator as the previous admins seem to have moved on, and there has been a slight string of "rapscallions" (okay, vandals) and there's no one to enforce this.
If any of you would please care to give your input as to my decision, it would be greatly appreciated.
In short - me becoming an admin. What do you think - yes or no. Murali9395 (talk) 20:48, December 29, 2016 (UTC)Read more >

So, Apocalypse is the main villain of X-Men Apocalypse.
He is played by Oscar Isaac, also known as Prince John or Poe Dameron.
Apocalypse is all-powerful and immortal. If he were to fight Thanos, he would likely kill Thanos, unless Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet, in which it'd be a stalemate.
He has Four Horsemen who, from the sound of things do nothing. Magneto, Storm, Psylocke, and "Angel".
Warren Worthington III is now called Angel, even though there was already another character named Angel who was butchered b…Read more >
We're creating an Instant Expert (i.e. Instant Expert:Age of Ultron) for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse movie. There is a section included in the IE called "Superfan Sound Off." That's where fans (like you!) can share with your fellow wikians why you're eager to watch X-Men: Apocalypse. We want to know why fans are excited about the movie and what you're most excited to see happen in the latest addition to the X-Men saga. Post in the comments below a brief blurb about why you are excited about the movie and you might see it on the Instant Expert next week! Check back next week when the Instant Expert for the film goes live on May 11th.Read more >
What we know is that they do defeat Apocalypse somehow, because it's set in the past and we've seen what the future of the revised timeline is like, with all the X-Men we know from the first film still alive and everything is well (though we don't know where Mystique and Magneto are). Saved by Canon.
What we don't know is exactly how Apocalypse is defeated. As his name implies, he wants to destroy the world, and so only death, imprisonment, de-powerment, or redemption can stop him from doing this. Let's review each one:
Death - Apocalypse is immortal, invincible, etc. He cannot be killed. Unless his power is taken away even for a second (which won't automatically kill him by No Immortal Inertia, that doesn't apply to mutants because Mystique…Read more >
Some thoughts about X-Men: Days of Future Past
So I recently watched X-Men: Days of Future Past (for the first time) and as Apocalypse is coming out in two weeks I thought its time to share my thoughts regarding DoFP with you ;)
That I don’t write too much at once, I want to start with what I think about Charles in this movie:
The Pratfall Effect:
I like that he is so depressed and broken in this movie. Professor X (portrayed by Patrick Stewart) is so perfect, he knows everything. You can really look up to him, but you just can’t relate to him. The young Charles (James McAvoy) is also too perfect. He is extremely smart, kinda good looking and he really has his life under control. It seems like he never had to deal with any problems in his liv…Read more >

Starting today, anything on this wiki pertaining to any animated franchise or anything else not related to the 20th Century Fox franchise will be removed.
No disrespect is meant to the fans of these animated series and their related films, but given the overall theme of this wiki (in that most of the material relates to the live-action films produced since 2000), the animated films and other works that don't relate to the current film franchise appear out of place, and ultimately seem unnecessary (as far as this wiki goes).
Anything pertaining to any animated work (film or otherwise) should be relegated to another relevant wiki, such as the following...

Hello fellow X-Men fans. Are you confused about the continuity of the X-Men movies?. Are you bothered by the numerous contradictions within the franchise?. WELL THEN!, i just might have an answer for you. (and even if you're not, it's still just a really cool video) This video presents a theory about the timeline that resolves about 98% of the franchise's problems. It's a brilliant analysis, that will surely leave you impressed.
Now i have to stress that i did not create this material, nor am i being compensated for sharing it on the web like this. I am simply doing this out of respect and support for the people that did.

Joining recently announced newcomer Lana Condor (Jubilee), Olivia Munn has landed a credit in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse as the telepathically and telekinetically gifted mutant Psylocke. Lacking a substantial presence in the X-Men films thus far, this will only be the second appearance for Betsy Braddock (first appearing in X-Men: The Last Stand), whose twin brother Brian is currently filling the role of Captain Britain.
Munn is well known for her geekdom, and specifically her love of cosplay as she regularly attends events such as Comic-Con dressed as a wide variety of characters from comics, movies, and video games. She's been seen as Chun Li from Street Fighter, Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, Leia, Slave Leia, and Wonder Woman - as wel…Read more >

A reposted comment of mine from the Timeline's comment section, with some minor revisions...
To everyone who believes that X-Men Origins: Wolverine is set in either the 1980s or 1990s...
Firstly, for the United States, the Vietnam War officially ended on January 27, 1973 (as seen in DoFP - the Paris Peace Conference), not 1975. Although the war ended overall on April 30, 1975 with the Fall of Saigon, it was only the South Vietnamese vs. North Vietnamese by then. Therefore, the U.S. can't be in Vietnam in a combat role in 1975 when you attempt to, more or less, portray the Vietnam War in a historic light.
Since June 1969, President Nixon initiated the policy of "Vietnamization" - devolving military responsibilities to the ARVN - Army of the Republ…

Do you realize that since the release of the first X-Men film both Spider-Man and Superman have been rebooted, twice?[[The Wolverine|]]
First it was a trilogy, then there was a prequel , and then a separate prequel , and then a spin-off from the trilogy and now we have... a reboot? X-Men: Days of Future Past is the 7th movie in the X-Men franchise, a franchise that's been on our screens for fourteen years; it's had some ups, it's had some downs, but it has certainly been a unique series. This year we get to see not only the original cast but also the refreshed younger cast. Of course the film involves time travel but this time it's quite different from mainstream sci-fi time travel, the movie doesn't dwell on it too much, if at all; the main…Read more >
In preparation of being dragged to go see Days of Future Past by my friends, even though I remembered not particularly liking the X-Men movies, I decided the re-watch all the movies in the X-Men franchise (and in the case of X-Men: First Class and The Wolverine, watch for the first time) because I love superhero film universes. My thoughts on Days of Future Past mainly stem from my thoughts on the X-Men Trilogy. Why, you ask? Read on and find out.
Something noteworthy here is that this is not criticism from an X-Men fan. I've never read an X-Men comic in my life nor have I ever spent a significant amount of time reading story summaries on Wikipedia. My thoughts throughout this retrospective are purely from a story lover and a film fan's poi…Read more >

I saw X-Men: Days of Future Past and what Jennifer Lawerence said about her character going to a dark side was no joke. Raven (Mystique) has her moments throughout the series, but Days of Future Past takes darkness to another level. Mystique went from being a sweet, loving, and caring girl that Charles took in as his sister, to a mutant on a dangerous mission.
Charles isn't the same either. Since the events from First Class, Xavier went from being a care free mutant who wanted to help, to being secluded in his own house and on drugs. Some would think that Charles has had his set backs, but the only person he thought would never commit murder or plot one, would be one that he considered family. Charles wanted so badly to walk again, that he …

Wolverine in the movies has never worn his iconic yellow costume from the comics. In a way it is disappointing, but I did like the suits in the trilogy and thought it made them more of a team, like family in a way. But in James Mangold's The Wolverine, we almost saw a set-up for him to wear it. It's an alternative scene where on the plane after leaving Mariko, Yukio gives Wolverine a briefcase with the costume inside. Many have said it would look foolish since it is a costume that belongs in the comics, but I think it can be midernized and suited for film just like what we saw in The Wolverine. I personally loved the suit and the origin of it in that outtake. It sets up the sequels to have the suit. In X-Men: Days of Future Past, there is a …Read more >

The other day, I found a post about 10 reasons why the X-Men films should reboot found here. So, because I found this, I thought I'd share it with you and respond to it.
So all of the X-Men movies are supposed to take place in one continuous timeline. Really?
If Mystique was Xavier’s step sister, how come she shows no attachment to or recognition of him in the original movies, and doesn’t think twice about putting him in a coma in the first movie?
There are decades in between First Class and the trilogy. It can be explained. She is changing into the person she will become in Days of Future Past.
If Beast was a part of the team from the beginning, how come he is absent from the first two movies? Was the conversion of everyone in New York or the…

They've said only five people will be on the team so I went with Wolverine, Deadpool, Domino, Nightcrawler and Psylocke. I feel those 5 have peronalities dark enough that you would'nt see them in a normal X-Men movie (excluding Wolverine and Deadpool) but they're too good to simply leave out of the franchise. I want to see the same girl play Psylocke too! Someone new should play Nightcrawler (becuase this Nightcrawler will be different from the one in X2 and I think someone like Kate Beckinsale could pull of Domino, considering they'd be in face makeup the whole film anyway! I hope you're getting the visual I'm getting in my mind for the film. What are your thoughts?Read more >
- Ignore X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Fox have said that they will ignore that movie and reboot the character which is a good thing to hear. Many fans have said that Deadpool was ruined in that movie, I can agree but I disagree as well as you can redeem him with this movie or just continue from they end scene and fix it there. To just continue with the character and ignore some things that happened in that movie would be best. They need to do what they did in First Class, ignore what some of the past movies did, and just make a good movie. Deadpool needs to be the same character from Origins, but more like his comic book version.
