Matthew Vaughn is the co-writer and director of X-Men: First Class and co-screen story and producer of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

- Vaughn previously worked First Class actor Jason Flemyng on numerous film, having previously directed in the films Kick-Ass (directing Evan Peters and Aaron Johnson, who would both play Quicksilver in the both the X-Men films and Marvel Cinematic Universe), Layer Cake, and Stardust with Ian McKellen, Kingsman: The Golden Circle with Halle Berry, as well produced the films Snatch, Mean Machine (both with Vinnie Jones), and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.
- Vaughn also produced Fantastic Four.
