In order to focus his energy blasts, Havok was outfitted with a containment unit designed by Hank McCoy. It was later downsized and upgraded to fit with his suit when he, Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr, Banshee, Raven, and Hank left to confront the Hellfire Club. The containment unit was singed off following a projectile attack from Angel Salvadore.
The damaged unit was later put in a glass chamber at the Pentagon along with Magneto's helmet, a severed wing from Angel, and the coin used to kill Sebastian Shaw.
