The Pentagon Prison Break was a mission involving Wolverine, Professor X, Beast and Quicksilver attempting to break Magneto out of prison so they can all stop Mystique from assassinating Trask.

Background

With Wolverine having mostly convinced Charles and Hank to help him stop Mystique. The trio agree they need Magneto's help, but Hank mentions that he's buried deep in a Pentagon prison due to his connection to JFK's death. Without Charles' powers and few funds, Wolverine suggests they get the help of a mutant he know in the original timeline: Peter Maximoff. The trio drive to his mother's house and discover he can move at incredible speeds. At first Peter is hesitant to help, but is convinced due to the illegal nature of the plan.
