On July 10, 2013, 20th Century Fox announced their development for a film version of X-Force.[3][4][5] Jeff Wadlow is set to write the movie's script, while Lauren Shuler Donner will produce the film.[6]

  • This film is inspired by the "X-Force" comic, but also incorporates the comics 'Cable & Deadpool' (the two team up), 'Uncanny X-Force: The Apocalypse Solution' (a search for the mutant Apocalypse) and 'Cable and X-Force' (the team goes on the run trying to stop the future).
  • Details about the film were announced at the 2014 San Diego Comic Con.
  • Kinberg has stated the film could be rated R.[7]
  • Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick will work on the film.[8]
